What we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: your planner is yours, and we treat it that way.

01

Overview

Yakusoku is a wedding planning workspace. To run it we collect a small amount of personal information — names, email addresses, RSVPs from your guests, the details of your day. This page explains what we hold, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We treat the contents of your planner as private to you and the collaborators you invite. We don’t sell, rent, or trade it.

02

What we collect

Account information. Your name, email address, and a password hash so you can sign back in.

Wedding information. Anything you enter into the planner — guests, budget, vendors, menus, seating, messages — held on your behalf.

Guest information. Names, contact details, dietary notes, and RSVPs that you or your guests provide. Held on your behalf.

Usage information. Standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) used to keep the service running and secure.

03

How we use it

We use your information to provide the service: to authenticate you, render your planner, send the emails you ask us to send, and respond to support requests.

We use aggregate, de-identified usage information to improve Yakusoku.

04

Sharing

We share your information with the service providers who help us run Yakusoku — hosting, email delivery, error monitoring — and only as needed for those purposes. They are bound to keep it confidential.

We disclose information to comply with the law, protect the safety of our users, or enforce our terms. Otherwise, your planner stays with you.

05

Storage and security

Your data is stored on managed infrastructure in Australia. Traffic is encrypted in transit. Backups are encrypted at rest.

No system is perfectly secure, but we hold ourselves to the standard you would expect from a service trusted with the details of your day.

06

Your choices

You can review, correct, export, or delete your information at any time from your account settings, or by reaching us through the contact form.

When you close your account we delete your planner. Backups age out on a rolling thirty-day window.

07

Children

Yakusoku is not directed at children under sixteen and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

08

Changes to this policy

We’ll update this page when our practices change. Material changes will be announced by email to account holders.

09

Contact

Questions about privacy can be sent through our contact form.
